In addition to its clipped tips and large cupping design, the Solas Scorpion 3 blade design can deliver very powerful thrust, higher speed and better bow lift. The Scorpion propeller series offers excellent high-speed performance and maneuvering capability, and is ideal boat prop for Bass, Bay and Flats applications. Like Yamaha VMAX, and Powertech VMX series propellers, the Scorpion props blade design delivers outstanding acceleration, higher speeds and notable bow lift.

Every RUBEX stainless steel or aluminum boat propeller has a rubber interchangeable hub system. It is designed to eliminate chatter and vibration that competitive hub systems are prone to. Being rubber, the RUBEX hub has no plastics to deteriorate. It can deflect 10% for softer shifting and to reduce prop shaft shock when the propeller strikes a submerged object. The RUBEX hub will not spin in the propeller. SOLAS RUBEX Hub systems aluminum or bronze will fit the same propeller application.

Aluminum hubs are suggested for 60-150 HP, while bronze hubs are recommended for 150-350 horsepower.
