SOLAS PRO3 Rubex Propeller for 90-300 HP Evinrude Johnson Outboards and Model 800 Sterndrives.

Designed with a high camber blade section and large blade area to provide better load carrying and fuel efficiency for the high power marine engine. The new generation of the SOLAS Stainless Propeller is made with ultra durable material. Unlike the traditional material, the new material is a true Stainless Steel. It will never RUST and is also very difficult to be worn out. SOLAS offers variety propeller series to meet different requirements. The PRO3 RUBEX stainless steel boat propeller has a rubber interchangeable hub system. It is designed to eliminate chatter and vibration that competitive hub systems are prone to.

Every RUBEX stainless steel or aluminum boat propeller has a rubber interchangeable hub system. It is designed to eliminate chatter and vibration that competitive hub systems are prone to. Being rubber, the RUBEX hub has no plastics to deteriorate. It can deflect 10% for softer shifting and to reduce prop shaft shock when the propeller strikes a submerged object. The RUBEX hub will not spin in the propeller. SOLAS RUBEX Hub systems aluminum or bronze will fit the same propeller application.

Aluminum hubs are suggested for 60-150 HP, while bronze hubs are recommended for 150-350 horsepower.

SOLAS Lab finished propellers are blue-printed propellers that go through a 40-point inspection. The result is a perfectly balanced propeller with flawlessly matched cupping across every blade and a custom blade thickness. The enemy of every boat and propeller is drag, lab finished propellers are finely tuned to eliminate drag.

The Pro Series has additional polishing and blade thinning to create sharper blades that will cut through the water better and raise rpms to gain more top speed. The longer barrel improves performance and decreases cavitation by allowing air and water created from the blades to easily flow behind the propeller and decrease drag. With the Pro Series adjustable vents, you can fine tune the performance and decrease planning time. The camber, or arch of the blade is more aggressive on the Pro Series which allows it to push back more water and reach higher speeds.

All this combined means there will be consistency in RPM when running on a multi-engine setup, and in most applications the Pro Series propeller will deliver higher top-end speed than a Standard Finish propeller.
