Spurs Line Cutter F4
Spurs Line Cutter Model F4 Fits 5"Thru 10" Shafts.
The principle that enables the shaft mounted "SPURS" to cut so effectively is the "screw action" created as the propeller turns, winding lines, nets or weeds directly into "SPURS" blades, for an instant cut eliminating entanglement or damage to the running gear.
Shaft Diameter:5" Thru 10"
Cutter Hub Diameter:13 1/4"
Cutter Width:2 5/8"
Min. Space To Install:2 3/4"
Cutter Overall Diameter: 19 1/2"
FORMULA TO DETERMINE HOLDING BLOCK HEIGHT:
Spurs Cutter Overall Diameter : 19 1/2"
Subtract Strut Outside Diameter
Divide by 2 = Holding Block Height
HOLDING BLOCK SIZES:
AA Height: 0.900"
1 Height: 1.125"
2 Height: 1.250"
2A Height: 1.375"
2B Height: 1.625"
3 Height: 1.500"
3A Height: 2.000"
4 Height: 2.125"
5 Height: 2.500"

Designed specifically for inboard boats, the Spurs Line Cutter Shaft Mounted System offers reliable protection for private and recreational vessels. Much like a prop-mounted line cutter, it intercepts and slices ropes, nets, and debris before they can wrap the shaft or damage the running gear.
What sets the Shaft Mounted Spurs Line Cutter apart is its installation method. The unit clamps directly onto the shaft and uses the shaft’s rotational inertia to power each cut. A precision blade rides on a Kevlar/Teflon bearing, kept firmly in place by a wedge-style block mounted on the strut with three securing screws. This creates a stable, low-friction cutting platform that performs consistently under load.
