The HR3 is a performance prop for high-speed planning hulls. High rake blade design provides an excellent bow lift, acceleration and top speed. Cupped blade design increases bite & reduces slip. All SOLAS propellers are developed by a state of the art process. Through a sequence of theoretical calculations, geometry design, prototype testing, pilot production and field tests, SOLAS propellers are designed to meet customers' various requirements. SOLAS Stainless Steel Propellers feature the industry's highest percentage of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. Our material resists rust from salt water and increases the stability of the propeller blades. SOLAS Stainless Steel propellers are made by investment casting process.

Every RUBEX stainless steel or aluminum boat propeller has a rubber interchangeable hub system. It is designed to eliminate chatter and vibration that competitive hub systems are prone to. Being rubber, the RUBEX hub has no plastics to deteriorate. It can deflect 10% for softer shifting and to reduce prop shaft shock when the propeller strikes a submerged object. The RUBEX hub will not spin in the propeller. Each RUBEX Hub Kit comes with the hardware needed to install the propeller on the prop shaft. Unlike competitive hubs, the prop nut does not require periodic re-torquing on a RUBEX propeller system.

Aluminum hubs are suggested for 60-150 HP, while bronze hubs are recommended for 150-350 horsepower.
