Why LasDrop Dripless Seals?
Our environment and waterways are
important. Many boats have a stuffing
box to seal the shaft. This stuffing box
has to “leak” to stay lubricated, which can be an environmental hazard.
With LasDrop DrySeal, Gen II and Elite
shaft seals the contaminated bilge water isn’t allowed to exit the bilge. This allows pollution and mishaps in the
bilge to be cleaned up in an easy, environmentally sound manner.
The Gen II system is the highest quality
of the LasDrop line. The Gen II has a mechanical
face seal similar to a commercial water pump.
With carbon graphite seal surfaces on the rotating and stationary seals,
the seals last up to 20 times longer
than standard lip-seal systems under the same operating environments. The blue seal tube is more durable, being a
silicone-based compound.
