Type T/TS – IPS Pod Drive NiBral Propellers:

Volvo Penta Duoprop single propellers for ISP1 Sterndrives in NiBral (nickel-aluminum-bronze) alloy are available at getaprop!  The T and T/S series are designed for maximum performance and efficiency. TS-3 through TS-6 are designed for moderate speed hulls, and the T-2 through T-10 are designed for a hull with high top speed.  Specifically developed to handle the tremendous torque of the D4 and D6 engines, this series is designed to give outstanding efficiency, onboard comfort and maneuverability. 


Extremely strong and specially developed NiBral (nickel-bronze-aluminum) alloy minimizes marine growth while providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance. It's not necessary to replace both props if just a single prop is damaged.  We offer low prices and 2-day shipping from our full line of IPS1 outdrive props; front, rear or sets, all sizes are available.


In 1982, Volvo Penta introduced twin counter-rotating propellers on the same shaft, producing unparalleled thrust, straight and true tracking with faster acceleration. The Duoprop propellers are designed to fill a vital function of the driveline, providing highly efficient and predictable handling, together with amazing onboard comfort and fuel efficiency. They followed up with the IPS drive to set a completely new standard in efficiency, comfort and maneuverability.  This hydro- dynamically designed propulsion unit pulls the boat through the water rather than pushing it, increasing performance and fuel efficiency.
