The Michigan XHS Delrin Sleeve E-Class 90–300 HP is a heavy-duty interchangeable propeller hub insert used in Michigan Wheel XHS and XHS II hub systems for larger Mercury, MerCruiser, and some high-horsepower outboards and sterndrives. The “Delrin sleeve” is the inner cushioned hub component made from high-strength Delrin polymer that absorbs shift shock and is designed to spin under severe impact to help protect the lower unit or gearcase from damage.
The XHS II hub system is specifically designed to interchange with Mercury Flo-Torq II style hub systems, so some compatible aftermarket brands may also fit if they use the same spline adapter geometry.
